I was always the ugly fat duckling. Everybody kept making remarks on my body, but nobody helped me to change it. There was a period when I changed one diet for another, I drastically limited my food income and exercised more than was healthy. The lost kilograms always came back after some time. Then I managed to lose 16 kilograms when I moved to a beach in Mexico. I started eating healthily and forgot about stress. Suddenly I lost weight without any effort and I kept my weight for several years.
After five years I returned back to the Czech Republic, unfortunately ill with cancer. My treatment took nearly two years and during this time my weight went up and down in tens of kilograms. The treatment also resulted in celiac disease, dairy intolerance, excessive weight and restraint of basal metabolism. And I slowly begun to return to my old lifestyle - I didn’t eat enough and exercised too much. To my surprise it didn’t help at all. I was chubby but under nourished and depressed. I knew that I can’t continue like this. One day I said ENOUGH!
I threw away all magazines, stopped reading discussions and advises on the internet and stopped relying on many different advises from fitness trainers in the gym. I turned new leaf and started from the beginning. My first step was to attend a requalification course for diet advisors. It opened my eyes and at the same time I realized that this is only the peak of an iceberg. I knew that if I want to look good and want to feel good in my body and to help with the same to my clients, I will have to change my lifelong patterns and my relationship to food. The most important, however, is the relationship to myself. So another course for Lifestyle coach followed.
Coaching is very personal and sensitive way to human psychics, when thans to a hard work with client mind and body join together as a unit. At this point the miracle begins. Therefore I created the programme Eat smart, where food is not our enemy, but our remedy ïn our way to a happy life. Check-ups in my office are not devoted only to weighing, measuring and checking of your results. Thanks to caching techniques I search together with my clients the causes, we remove variety of blocks which they created in their diet and bad habits are replaced by healthier habits.
As a diet and nutrition coach I also took a courses in Deacifidation and detoxication of organism, Diet acording to nutrition typology, Diet of children, pregnant and brestfeeding women and Fitness diet planning and I am doing my best to put it all into practice. Because I believe that our body is strongly connected to our mind I take a course in a psychosomatology. Whether you like it or not, everything what is happening to us outside is connected to what is happening inside. We ourseleves dont often realise it, therefore we will uncover all this during our sessions.
In the end I will be honest with you. My body still doesnt reming a beauty ideal which I dreamed about ages ago. I still have a lot to work on. But luckily I understand that a balanced mind and self-love are much more important. Every day I do the best for myself. I eat smart, I study, I do sports which I like, I have a job which is fulfilling and I feel that my body starts healing itself. And when it starts to believe me and stops being afraid of more changes, it will lose the last „rescue kilograms“ which it still helds as a reserve for bad times. And I give it time and dont push it.
